SYNNECT – Remote Care. Smart Delivery.
DALI has developed and designed its SYNNECT smart injection solution to add innovative features to the regular syringe.
As part of the Digital Health and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) worlds, SYNNECT utilizes sensing and connectivity technologies to offer a variety of new capabilities.
Once the SYNNECT is added, a syringe transforms into a Connected Injection Devices (CID) that can monitor the injection process, offer injection administration alerts and integrate with existing data management platforms (reimbursement evidence, market understanding, adverse events, product and training improvements)..
SYNNECT’s wide compatibility with a variety of standard, prefilled, and safety syringes makes it the logical choice for injectable drugs. It delivers new capabilities by replacing only one part of the syringe: the plunger rod. Adding the SYNNECT plunger rod does not require making any changes to the drug’s primary packaging, as it does not actually come into contact with the drug.
Being a Digital Medicine Product, the SYNNECT accurately and continuously measures the injected drug volume (even partial doses), tracks the start/end of injection, connects to the dedicated smart device app, and transmits injection data (using BLE) to a secure cloud-based location in real time.
SYNNECT offers Remote Measurement Technologies (RMT) to the benefit of variety of stakeholders (pharma/sponsors/CROs), and by that becomes a major tool in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) for clinical trials and marketed drugs.
This product is under development.
